Thanksgiving 2005

Things I am thankful for? Well, there's
Hunky Hugh Jackman and stadium seating,
Alfred Hitchcock, superheroes, and Puppy Gromit,
Neighborhood theaters still hanging on,
Kids' classics like "Kangaroo Jack" (Kidding!); also
Sarsgaard (Peter) and other
Great actors like Chris Cooper, as well as the
Internet, a good entertainment rag (on paper),
Vintage movie posters, and the persistence of
Independent film. Then there's
Netflix and popcorn and, last but not least,
Getting to write about it all.
